This webquest was designed to meet Utah State Core Curriculum for science, and social studies objectives. Students will use an inquiry based process, to investigate and research various Utah environments. Students will choose an appropriate method to present their research on the different environments of Utah.
Introduction
KidsCount Productions has asked our fourth grade classroom to participate in the research and filming of a new show, "Utah's Amazing Places". The producer and director, Mrs. Clark, has created a show especially for nine and ten year olds. Students will research Utah's different environments and then travel around the state to film our show.
This travel and filming experience will help you to understand the diverse environments of Utah. Could you survive in a new environment away from the city? Would you be able to live in another environment with unfamiliar conditions? How would you prepare for this? Are you looking forward to this new experience or are you dreading it?
KidsCount Productions invites you to take an active part in preparing the presentation of "Utah's Amazing Places"!
